The League of PALS

June 2007, when I first entered the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig (University of Pasig City). Without any clue, I began my college life as simple as I am. I started to mingle with strange people and classmates and talked to different students from different colleges. Later on, I learned to be immune to the fresh culture of the university.

As I got closer to PLPians, I started to know them individually and personally. I realized that many of them are broken and clamoring for healing. (I'm talking here not a physical illness but an inward and a heart issue.) I met students who are products of broken families, abused by someone (some are incest), having low self esteem, gender confused, financially troubled, belong to a war freak environment, etch. All of them are broken and weeping inside!

Until God called me to do something. He wanted me to make a step and create a difference, to make HIS NAME famous through a very simple way:  to share HIS LOVE, HIS HOPE, JESUS CHRIST!

June 2008, He sent me 7 students whom willing to help me to start this mission. With the guidance of our Lord Jesus and our Spiritual Adviser, we establish the team.

September 2008, the League of PALS has recognized as a formal Christian College Ministry by the Department of Student Affairs-United Organizations at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Pasig.

And last December 2008, it celebrated its inauguration night, entitled Hall of Fame, at the same campus which was attended by 40 student leaders and representatives from different PLP organizations and colleges.

 After this, we planned to have series of gatherings and seminars , small groups and discipleship for the students.

Now, God is lifting our faith that this 2009 and coming years, the LORD will do something greater! It is not the end but just the start of what God wants me to do. And if you are willing to be part of this ministry, you are more than WELCOME! We are glad to know from you that you want to be with us in this mission. It's cool! Make HIS NAME FAMOUS!
