The League of PALS

Based on World Internet Stats, there are 1,596,270,108 internet users in the world. 41.2% of it are Asians. In the Philippines there are estimated 15 to 20 million currently online, stated by Jay Bautista, the Neilsen's excecutive director for media. (March 2009) They found out that Filipinos age between 10 to 19 are the top internet users in our country.

Alexa.com presented the top 100 sites mostly visited by Filipinos. The Top 5 websites are the following:

1. Yahoo

2. Friendster

3. Youtube

4. Google.ph and Google.com (which is actually the 5th)

5. Facebook

Now, it convicts me to embrace the reality of change. The trend wherien everything is upgrading and innovating. It is now the generation of technology. If we will be ignorant of these, we will be eaten by the modern world. Yes, I have to admit that technology is the WORST COMPETITOR ever when we are talking about young person's focus. Yet I realized it can also be the BEST TEAMMATE.

This week (April 2009) I am starting to work for this website as a tool of blessing to other techy people, especially the YOUTH. The stastic shows how youth are more active in web sphere. I'm just doing what God is telling me, to go to the place where they are and share HIS LOVE. It is my heart to make a difference even in a simple way of posting my articles in blog and sharing video clips. Through this website, I'm praying the LORD will touch every person who will visit and view this.

PURPOSE OF THIS WEBSITE

1. To share about the League of PALS, its mission, vision, core values, activities, etch.

2. To dissiminate information (eg. PALS activities, gatherings, meetings, conference, concerts, seminars, etch.)

3. To meet new friends in web world.

4. To uplift the moral of this generation/ To promote spiritual revolution.

5. To express our love, care, feelings, passion for GOD, Youth, People, Universities, Cities, and Nations.

BLOG WRITERS and CONTRIBUTORS

Our writers and contributors are certified PALS, pastors and fruitful Christian Youth. All of the articles are checked by our ministry's advisers and editor-in-chief.

Although this website blog is managed by us, it is still open to all Christian Youth. We encourage Christians to share their pesonal encounter with Christ. We are happy to know other Christians' testimonies, life's lessons and experiences. If you are willing to share yours, please see the criteria and requirements below.

Criteria for Writer/Contributor

1. Atleast already 1-year  Christian and has 1-year fruitful experience in ministry.

2. Youth or Young Pro, ages 13 to 27.

3. Currently involved in a Ministry, Church, ParaChurch or Christian Movement.

4. Not ashamed Christian/ with good testimony.

Note: It is a non-profit, non-earning website. We do not give allowance to contributors. The main purpose of this is to inspire young people to serve more and follow Christ.
